A fish mount's "aliveness" is expressed through body shape,
motion, environment, and color. 
You will learn fish measuring, skinning, tanning,
hand-carving of custom forms, eye-setting, mounting, and presentation.

  You will learn how to perform each of these steps with precision
in order to create a perfect foundation for the final airbrushing. 

Everything "shows" on a fish,
and no amount of creative positioning of feathers or combing of fur
can hide a mistake on a fish! 

However, the payoff for the high degree of technical knowledge required,
and that you will gain,
is a finished fish mount that glows
with subtle color,
and,
of course,
"looks alive."
